I had the pleasure of working with Pat Kirkland, a highly energetic and skilled executive coach. We hit the sweet spot at our shoot at Photogroup Studios when Aretha Franklin stirred things up! Kirkland’s work differentiates executive styles— predator, prey or partner— with the most effective model being that of the partner. Creating sustainable, harmonious and successful working environments through leadership coaching is her specialty. The two shots of her in red are just a few of the ones we captured, but this is a great example of how powerful a great headshot can be when used on your website. Jesse is a high school senior on the precipice of something big. The world better watch out for this bright, self-possessed and kind young man. He had very particular ideas of what he want portrayed in his images — a young man bringing his smarts and capabilities to the world around him — and I think we captured that. Thanks, Jesse, for a great shoot!

Jude and his parents make me smile. I photographed this family when Jude was still in the protected place of his mama’s belly, several months later when he was all smiles and drool, and then a few years later. Thank you Chelsea and Jesse for inviting me to document these special times.

I spent a couple of hours with this fun and beautiful family one warm Austin night before their daughters left for college. Thank you, ladies, for a great shoot!
