I spent the afternoon at an engagement shoot with this fun south Austin family a few weeks before Mom and Dad tied the knot. They’ve created a sweet family nest. Everywhere you turn in their home there’s beauty, whimsy, thought and heart. Stay tuned to see their beautiful wedding photos from Fischer Hall!
I love the opportunity to photograph intimate family rituals. Somehow you walk away feeling like you’ve briefly been adopted by a new family and perhaps even made a new friend or two.:) And, well, I like that! Jessica and Geoff chose their wedding day as a time to be with their closest friends and family in a lovely home ceremony. Here’s a small sampling of their day.
I visited the offices of commercial real estate company Lead Commercial, leadaustin.com, in south Austin last week to capture a few headshots for their new website. I know when I’m ready to find a beautiful new studio to fit my business, these are the guys I will trust to help me locate the perfect location. They concentrate on working with Austin companies and Austin investors to find the perfect match.
This family gathered from Austin, India and Boston to celebrate their recent UT graduate. It was a big occasion to have everyone here and such an honor to document their extended family. I went to their house prior to the shoot to see how we could accommodate this number of people in an efficient and artful way. Thanks for your time and trust to capture such a special reunion!
I photographed this fun Travis Heights family in and around central Austin’s Stacy Park. They made it easy to capture expressive and unscripted moments — the ones that tell the most. The park dates back to the early 1930’s, is part of the Blunn Creek Greenbelt and has loads of gorgeous old oaks trees to give shade during our hot summers. If you live in the area and haven’t explored this park, it’s a taste of old Austin and unlike so many things, has not changed much over the years. I love exploring new locations with my clients and am continually delighted!
